About this gallery

Already in the sixties, cultural experts prognosed social changes that take place today. They described the future world as a "global village", in which the international communication was to change our perception of life. The prognosed cultural homogenization (the mixing of cultures) and the decrease of culture became a fact. Looking at the world today, instead of talking about the "global village", we could talk about a "global disgrace", where the most primitive behaviours are promoted.

The present gallery aims to show that humanity still pertains in few of us - beautiful, classical, derived from the greatest "cultural Meccas" of the world.

We invite the best authors to present their works, and the spectator to admire paintings from another world that slowly falls into oblivion.
